Membership is open to all persons of the above names or whose parent, grandparent, or any branch thereof, is in direct bloodline to any of the above names, along with any member of the House of Home (Hume), Forbes, Buchanan, Ramsey, Carnegie, or Douglas, due to marriage between these families.

The objective of Clan Watson Society International is to further knowledge of the clan and to encourage Watsons to research their genealogy, as well as to have some fun and socializing while doing this. We also hope to publish a newsletter, albeit once or twice a year at first. As articles are received from members for publication, the newsletter will be published more frequently. We also hope to have social gatherings from time to time.
