Bay City Rollers
The Bay City Rollers were a seventies sensation. In September of 1971, "Keep On Dancing," went to #9 in the U.K., and five guys from Edinburgh were on a roll!

During the peak of their success in the 1970's, several members of the band came and went, but between the music, the group's good looks -- and of course, those tartan vests -- the fans just kept wanting more. The band's first US hit was "Saturday Night," which hit #1 early in 1976.

The BCR are the subject of a BBC documentary to air sometime in 1999. Former members are also in the process of releasing new CDs, which will certainly make BCR fans happy!

There is plenty of info about the BCR on the 'net -- including everything from fan clubs to record trading posts. To find out what the band members are up to today (David later became a nurse!), go to The Bay City Rollers Newsstand. To start, check out Gerd Buesken's Bay City Rollers Homepage, the first and maybe biggest BCR website.
