The Bay City Rollers were a seventies sensation. In September of 1971, "Keep On Dancing," went to #9 in the U.K., and five guys from Edinburgh were on a roll!
During the peak of their success in the 1970's, several members of the band came and went, but between the music, the group's good looks -- and of course, those tartan vests -- the fans just kept wanting more. The band's first US hit was "Saturday Night," which hit #1 early in 1976.
The BCR are the subject of a BBC documentary to air sometime in 1999. There is plenty of info about the BCR on the 'net -- including everything from fan clubs to record trading posts. To find out what the band members are up to today (David later became a nurse!), go to The Bay City Rollers Newsstand. To start, check out Gerd Buesken's Bay City Rollers Homepage, the first and maybe biggest BCR website. | ||

Please note that this is a snapshot of the site as it existed nearly 20 years ago and you may encounter broken links; we are still combing through the site and correcting those as we find them. Please also note that some sections are currently not functional, primarily the discussion forums/clan chat boards.
