Famous Scots Eric Liddell
Scottish runner Eric Liddell set a world record in the 400-yard dash at the Paris Olympics in 1924. He attributed his win to God.

After his triumph at the Olympics, Liddell travelled to China where he was ordained as a minister in 1932. The film Chariots of Fire is based, in part, on his story.
